In 2021, I finally put some ideas on paper.

The efforts put forth for the event are commendable, but it’s important to consider the pros and cons of this venture. On the positive side, the event offers a low-cost opportunity for people to gather. However, there are significant drawbacks as well. Firstly, the event requires a full day of participation, and the profits are much lower than those of Pledj. As a volunteer, time is a valuable commodity, and participating in an event that offers little compensation may not be the most effective use of one’s time and energy. 

In conclusion, it’s crucial to use time optimally as a volunteer. Participating in an event that offers low returns for a full day’s work may not be the best course of action.

Here are the pros and cons of using a risk-free fundraiser that provides value to its customers.

On the positive side, there is no financial risk involved and customers receive something of value.

However, on the downside, it can create a lot of work for volunteers. This includes distributing order forms to each individual, collecting order forms and money after the fundraiser is over, trying to interpret people’s handwriting on order forms, spending an entire day sorting and filling orders on delivery day, and waiting for parents to pick up their orders.

Additionally, in some cases, volunteers may need to find freezer space for orders that were not picked up.

Overall, while this type of fundraiser may be profitable, it can also be time-consuming and stressful for volunteers.

The success of the fundraiser may be forgotten if the delivery day is a headache.

Raffles are a common fundraiser method, mainly because they are easy to manage from a volunteer standpoint. However, the truth is, most people don’t really enjoy raffles and only purchase tickets as a way to support the cause. There are several drawbacks to this fundraising method, such as:

The reason is straightforward – we want to offer you an exceptional customer experience with a tailor-made interface that can optimize your fundraising efforts.

Moreover, this fee helps discourage individuals who have no genuine interest in using Pledj since we invest a lot of resources in creating each account for maximum fundraising success.

How long does it take?

It is important to note that the most effective fundraising occurs within the first few days of a 7-day timeline when excitement and motivation are at their peak. The statistics suggest that most fundraisers lose their momentum by the 8th day. However, we do allow the option for you to run Pledj for up to 30 days.

Can one person do Pledj?

Simple answer: Not at this time.

Please note that only non-profit organizations that hold a 501 c non-taxable status are eligible for Pledj fundraising.

It is important to understand that Pledj does not offer fundraising services to individuals.
