Tips for Success

We all know the saying:

“If you fail to plan, then plan to fail”.

It’s no different in fundraising.

The organizations we see succeed have goals and have parents accept responsibility for those goals.

If you distribute these cookie dough brochures and just “hope” everyone will perform to their best without guidance, you are sadly mistaken.

Remember, you are sacrificing your personal time for the kids…not the parents.

Let’s raise the most money as possible.

Goalsetting

Setting goals is easy. Reaching them takes work.

Get together with your group leaders and figure out how much your organization needs.

Then add 20%.

Next, take the amount of participants in your organization and factor how much profit each one needs to reach your goal.

Let’s say there are 100 participants in your organization and your desire is to buy new equipment.

That new equipment costs $10,000.

Add 20% to this number and this becomes your goal.

This means that each per needs to bring in $120 of profit.

Now it time to figure how many items that will be for this specific goal.

Please contact us if you need help with this. We love putting together strategies for our customers.

Reaching Your Goals in 60 Minutes

If you are serious about getting the best results from your fundraiser, we implore you to implement the “Hour of Power“.

We practically guarantee you will reach your fundraising goals in just 60 minutes.

Here is how it works:

  1. Set a date and time for this event. It is ideal to make it mandatory.
  2. Print and distribute copies beforehand.
  3. Participants prepare for this event by collecting names and phone numbers for as many people as possible.
  4. At the event, participants will call, text, direct message as many people as possible from this contact list for 60 minutes.
  5. Supporters can pay now or arrangements can be made to collect payment later in the week.

The power of Being Social

the second best way to reach your goals efficiently is through social media.

1. Encourage each person to post a picture of their cookie dough brochure to their social media accounts. Facebook is the preferred method but Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok and great ways to get the message out about your fundraiser.

2. Use your organization’s social media’s account too. Post daily reminding your participants of the importance of this fundraiser.

If your organization uses a texting messaging service, this is a great way to send out reminders too. Emails work too.

Instructions

In case you may have forgotten some of the instructions of you running your fundraiser, we placed them here for an easy reference.

Just download and print.

More Helpful Tips

Selling

To make your job easier later, encourage participants to write their name and phone number on the order taker section as soon as they receive it.

Also remind participants that checks are made payable to your organization.

Work Smarter

The most efficient way for your participants to reach their goals is simply by asking for orders on Social Media. They can do this by taking a picture of the brochure your organization is using. If want images for your organization’s Facebook page, please reach out to us.

Completion

When the sale’s campaign comes to an end, all participants will turn in orders and money. It will save you some time and grief if you address the state of order takers being turned. Our rule of thumb is if there are more than one mistake per page, hand them a new order taker and ask them to re-do it. You don’t want to be blamed for wrongly interpreting someone else’s mess.

Delivery

Once your place your order with us, we will ship it to you within 3 weeks. It is ideal to have a large climate controlled area to receive your order. Also remember that your order will arrive via 3rd party carrier on a semi-truck.
